dc.description.abstractOs patrimônios culturais, vistos enquanto registros e representantes de conhecimentos, têm seus processos interpretativos associados a elementos dotados de valor simbólico informacional. Nesse contexto, a informação e, seu estudo, ocupam um lugar privilegiado nessa relação, enquanto elemento constitutivo a partir do qual indivíduos expressam e valorizam determinados registros do conhecimento. Tal processo perpassa o que se observa como a perspectiva sociocultural na Organização e Representação da Informação e do Conhecimento (ORIC) uma vez que, tanto o conhecimento, como a informação são organizados e representado em função de esquemas socioculturais de interpretação e valor. Em meio digital, a manifestação desses objetos dotados de valor simbólico informacional recai sobre os dados, sendo sua organização e representação viabilizadas pelos metadados, em uma abordagem nomeada curadoria digital. Ao considerar que é a ORIC que reforça as estruturas semânticas em todos as ações da curadoria digital, este estudo questiona: “Como a perspectiva sociocultural na ORIC é refletida nas ações de curadoria digital do patrimônio cultural?”. Diante disso, objetivou-se caracterizar a perspectiva sociocultural na Organização e Representação da Informação e do Conhecimento (ORIC) em ações de curadoria digital de patrimônios culturais. Desenvolveu-se um percurso de investigação dialético, de natureza básica e teórica, de caráter exploratório-descritivo e qualitativo, pautado na abordagem teórico-metodológica da Análise de Domínio (AD). Com base nas três dimensões interligadas da AD - epistemológica, ontológica e sociológica - foram detalhados os procedimentos práticos e operacionais a partir de um corpus bibliográfico sistematizado, tido como espelho das práticas comunicativas do domínio. A análise foi conduzida segundo uma perspectiva de triangulação de métodos, considerando três abordagens específicas da AD: A1 - Produção e avaliação de guias de literatura e portais temáticos; A6 - Estudos históricos de estruturas e serviços de informação em domínios; e A9 - Conhecimento de estudos terminológicos, LSP e análise de discurso em campos do conhecimento. A construção dos resultados e discussões foi baseada na interrelação entre o sujeito, o objeto e o fenômeno da triangulação, vistos sob as lentes AD como o metafenômeno “abordagens socioculturais na curadoria digital do patrimônio cultural”. A dimensão epistemológica, via abordagem A6, permitiu compreender como a percepção do patrimônio cultural se molda no ambiente digital, destacando a evolução da curadoria digital a partir de uma perspectiva histórica. A dimensão ontológica foi explorada pela A9, identificando os termos e conceitos que estruturam os "dados do patrimônio cultural" e moldam sua organização e representação. Por fim, a dimensão sociológica, por meio da A1, evidenciou como portais temáticos, como o PHAIDRA, operam na organização e representação sociocultural do patrimônio digital, exemplificando as abordagens socioculturais na curadoria digital do patrimônio cultural em interfaces dinâmicas entre acervos e públicos. A pesquisa evidenciou que a curadoria digital, ao atuar entre o controle técnico e a via simbólica, coloca os metadados como construções sociotécnicas que expressam escolhas e interpretações, demonstrando que as abordagens socioculturais estão diretamente ligadas às formas pelas quais comunidades constroem e disputam significados. A curadoria digital, portando, ao integrar processos da ORIC, permite compreender as dinâmicas socioculturais e informacionais dos domínios em que atua.
dc.description.abstractother1Cultural heritage is seen as a record and representation of knowledge, and its interpretation is associated with elements that have symbolic informational value. In this context, information and its study occupy a privileged place in this relationship, as a constitutive element through which individuals express and value certain records of knowledge. This process is part of what is seen as the sociocultural perspective of the Organization and Representation of Information and Knowledge (ORIC), since both knowledge and information are organized and represented according to sociocultural schemes of interpretation and value. In the digital environment, the manifestation of these objects endowed with symbolic informational value falls to data, the organization and representation of which is made possible by metadata, in an approach known as digital curation. Given the role of ORIC that reinforces the semantic structures in all digital curation actions, this study asks: “How is the sociocultural perspective of ORIC reflected in cultural heritage digital curation actions?”. In consideration of the aforementioned, the objective was to delineate the sociocultural perspective of the Organization and Representation of Information and Knowledge (ORIC) in the context of cultural heritage digital curation actions. A methodological approach was developed, integrating elements of dialectical, basic and theoretical research, and exploratory-descriptive and qualitative research. A dialectical, basic and theoretical, exploratory-descriptive and qualitative research path was developed, based on the theoretical-methodological approach of Domain Analysis (DA). Based on the three interconnected dimensions of DA - epistemological, ontological and sociological - the practical and operational procedures were detailed using a systematized bibliographic corpus, seen as a mirror of the domain's communicative practices. The analysis was conducted from a perspective of triangulation of methods, considering three specific approaches to DA: A1 - Production and evaluation of literature guides and thematic portals; A6 - Historical studies of information structures and services in domains; and A9 - Knowledge of terminological studies, LSP and discourse analysis in fields of knowledge. The construction of the results and discussions was based on the interrelationship between the subject, the object and the phenomenon of triangulation, seen through the lens of AD as the meta-phenomenon “sociocultural approaches in the digital curation of cultural heritage”. The epistemological dimension, via the A6 approach, made it possible to understand how the perception of cultural heritage is shaped in the digital environment, highlighting the evolution of digital curation from a historical perspective. The ontological dimension was explored by A9, identifying the terms and concepts that structure "cultural heritage data" and shape its organization and representation. Finally, the sociological dimension, through A1, showed how thematic portals, such as PHAIDRA, operate in the sociocultural organization and representation of digital heritage, exemplifying sociocultural approaches in the digital curation of cultural heritage in dynamic interfaces between collections and audiences. The research demonstrated that digital curation, by acting as an intermediary between technical control and the symbolic route, positions metadata as socio-technical constructions that express choices and interpretations. This suggests a direct linkage between socio-cultural approaches and the way communities construct and dispute meanings. Therefore, the integration of ORIC processes enables digital curation to facilitate comprehension of the sociocultural and informational dynamics of the domains in which it operates.
