dc.description.abstractA pesquisa está vinculada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação (PPEdu), da Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL), à linha “Docência: Saberes e Práticas” e ao núcleo “Formação de Professores”, bem como ao Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Educação, Infância e Teoria Crítica (GEPEITC) junto ao Projeto Integrado de Pesquisa e Extensão intitulado “Critinfância: Formação de Professores para a Educação da Infância em Tempos de Travessia”, ambos vinculados a Universidade Estadual de Londrina. A relevância social e formativa da pesquisa decorre da atuação profissional da pesquisadora como pedagoga em dos projetos da Cáritas Arquidiocesana de Londrina, em parceria com o Município, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social, bem como do aprofundamento do conhecimento sobre o Programa de Atendimento a Migrantes, Refugiados e Apátridas, no período de 2021 e 2025. A justificativa sobre a temática da migração infantil decorre da necessidade de ampliar os estudos acerca da migração considerando que a revisão de literatura apontou para lacunas nesse campo de pesquisa, incorporando para além do foco no migrante adulto, as experiências das crianças migrantes, no espaço escolar. O problema da pesquisa é: Como tem se configurado o processo de acolhimento escolar da criança migrante à luz das políticas públicas no município de Londrina, Paraná? O objetivo geral da pesquisa é compreender, o processo de acolhimento das crianças migrantes no município de Londrina, Paraná. Os objetivos específicos são: a) contextualizar a migração no Brasil e os conceitos relacionados ao processo de migração, emigração, imigração e refúgio; b) desenvolver um mapeamento dos marcos normativos em relação ao processo de acolhimento da criança migrante no Brasil, e especificamente, no município de Londrina, Paraná; c) discutir sobre a atuação das organizações sociais na condução e integração das crianças no âmbito escolar no município de Londrina; d) analisar o papel do Estado na indução de políticas de atendimento e acolhimento da criança, garantia do direito à educação digna e qualidade. A pesquisa adota uma abordagem qualitativa, fundamentada no materialismo histórico-dialético e em outros autores de base marxista, com foco na revisão bibliográfica sobre migração, infância e educação, bem como na análise de documentos institucionais e legislações técnicas relativas à migração infantil, a partir de fontes oficiais de organizações especializadas e do poder público municipal. Os resultados evidenciam avanços pontuais na inserção de crianças migrantes na rede municipal de Londrina, porém revelam a ausência de políticas educacionais específicas, o que contribui para sua invisibilização e para a reprodução de desigualdades no contexto escolar
dc.description.abstractother1This research is linked to the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPEDU) at the State University of Londrina (UEL), specifically to the “Teaching: Knowledge and Practices” line of research and the “Teacher Training” core area, as well as to the Study and Research Group in Education, Childhood and Critical Theory (GEPEITC) within the Integrated Research and Extension Project entitled “Critical Childhood: Teacher Training for Early Childhood Education in Times of Transition,” both affiliated with the State University of Londrina. The social and formative relevance of the research stems from the researcher’s professional experience as an educator in projects of the Archdiocese of Londrina’s Caritas, in partnership with the municipality, through the Municipal Department of Social Assistance, as well as from deepening her knowledge of the Program for Assistance to Migrants, Refugees and Stateless Persons, in the period of 2021 and 2025. The rationale for focusing on the theme of child migration stems from the need to broaden studies on migration, considering that the literature review pointed to gaps in this field of research, incorporating, beyond the focus on adult migrants, the experiences of migrant children in the school environment. The research problem is: how has the school integration process for migrant children been configured in light of public policies in the municipality of Londrina, Paraná? The general objective of the research is to understand the integration process of migrant children in the municipality of Londrina, Paraná. The specific objectives are: a) to contextualize migration in Brazil and the concepts related to the processes of migration, emigration, immigration, and refuge; b) to develop a mapping of the normative frameworks in relation to the integration process of migrant children in Brazil, and specifically, in the municipality of Londrina, Paraná; c) to discuss the role of social organizations in guiding and integrating children within the school environment in the municipality of Londrina; d) to analyze the role of the State in inducing policies for the care and integration of children, guaranteeing the right to dignified and quality education. This research adopts a qualitative approach, grounded in historical-dialectical materialism, and in other authors with a Marxist background, focusing on a literature review on migration, childhood, and education, as well as the analysis of institutional documents and technical legislation related to child migration, based on official sources from specialized organizations and the municipal government. The results show some progress in the inclusion of migrant children in the municipal school system of Londrina, but reveal the absence of specific educational policies, which contributes to their invisibility and the reproduction of inequalities in the school context
