dc.description.abstractO tema da presente dissertação são as concepções de mundo em Hannah Arendt. Considerando que o conceito de mundo na filosofia de Hannah Arendt não possui apenas um sentido, mas uma plurivocidade de sentidos, analisa-se a obra da filósofa para identificar as definições de mundo. Dessarte, o problema ao qual essa pesquisa responde é: quais são os múltiplos sentidos de mundo e como eles se fundamentam na filosofia de Hannah Arendt? Objetiva-se identificar, por meio da investigação das atividades da vida ativa – trabalho, obra (fabricação) e ação, que são condições fundamentais do modo de vida do ser humano na Terra –, bem como por meio da análise dos eventos modernos, a origem dos sentidos de mundo na obra de Hannah Arendt. Para tanto, procede-se a uma pesquisa que consiste na análise teórico-conceitual dos escritos da filósofa, sobretudo das obras Origens do totalitarismo (1951), A Condição Humana (1958) e Entre o passado e o futuro (1961). Como hipótese de trabalho, estabelece-se que a plurivocidade de sentidos de mundo está centrada em dois aspectos essenciais de mundo: o mundo criado artificialmente pelo ser humano por meio de suas obras e o mundo comum, efetivado pelas relações humanas. Desse modo, resulta que existem ao menos dois sentidos de mundo fundamentais na filosofia de Hannah Arendt, o que permite concluir que o mundo, em seu sentido plural, para existir, necessita tanto da parte material quanto da pluralidade de seres humanos únicos para se tornar verdadeiramente humano.
dc.description.abstractother1The theme of this dissertation are Hannah Arendt's conceptions of the world. Considering that the concept of world in Hannah Arendt's philosophy does not have just one meaning, but a plurality of meanings, the philosopher's work is analyzed to identify the definitions of world. Thus, the problem addressed by this research is: what are the multiple meanings of world and how are they grounded in Hannah Arendt's philosophy? The objective is to identify, through the investigation of the activities of active life – labor, work (fabrication), and action, which are fundamental conditions of the human way of life on Earth – as well as through the analysis of modern events, the origin of the meanings of world in Hannah Arendt's work. To this end, we conduct research consisting of a theoretical and conceptual analysis of the philosopher's writings, especially the works The Origins of Totalitarianism (1951), The Human Condition (1958), and Between Past and Future (1961). As a working hypothesis, it is established that the plurivocity of meanings of world is centered on two essential aspects of world: the world artificially created by humans through their works and the common world, brought about by human relations. Thus, it follows that there are at least two fundamental meanings of the world in Hannah Arendt's philosophy, which allows us to conclude that the world, in its plural sense, needs both the material part and the plurality of unique human beings to become truly human.
