O fazer cidade das prostitutas: invasão, ocupação insistente e a instalação da prostituição em regiões morais de Londrina

Resumo
Resumo: O jornalismo hegemônico da cidade de Londrina, norte do Paraná, revela diferentes perspectivas acerca do seu território. Londrina foi planejada como “cidade jardim” pela Companhia de Terras Norte do Paraná, na década de 1930, e essa representação foi destacada pelos poderes públicos até os anos 1950, quando também ganhou status de “capital mundial do café”. Mas, desde o princípio, prostitutas e clientes do mercado sexual tensionaram e produziram outras representações sobre essa cidade a procura da “capital da boêmia” no Estado. A dissertação examina quais fatores ora fazem Londrina uma “cidade jardim” e ora fazem dela uma “capital boêmia”, a fim de compreender as ações e os códigos que organizam e segregam o espaço urbano segundo cada concepção. Para tanto, mobiliza-se o conceito de fazer cidade, conforme Agier (2015), sobre o movimento realizado pelos grupos na cidade que elaboram e disseminam a imagem de ambas as cidades ideais, e, com ênfase nas trabalhadoras sexuais, interpreta-se como se organizam os territórios de prostituição na região central e analisa-se as táticas de controle e permissibilidade sobre esse território promovida por setores públicos, políticos e sociais em seus respectivos movimentos na cidade. Pretende-se, por fim, aplicar o modelo explicativo de estabelecidos e outsiders, conforme Elias (2000), para a visualização desses movimentos que segregam a cidade e que sob um equilíbrio instável de poder nos espaços de tradição, autoridade e influência tensionam, proíbem e/ou permitem as reivindicações de direito à cidade das prostitutas fora dos territórios de prostituição, corroborando para a formação de regiões morais, em uma atualização do conceito de Robert Park (1967) sob o diálogo com os demais autores.
Abstract: The hegemonic journalism of the city of Londrina, north of Paraná, reveals different perspectives about its territory. Londrina was planned as a “garden city” by the Companhia de Terras Norte do Paraná, in the 1930s, and this representation was highlighted by public authorities until the 1950s, when it also gained the status of “world capital of coffee”. But, from the beginning, prostitutes and clients of the sex market tensioned and produced other representations about this city in search of the “capital of bohemia” in the State. The dissertation examines which factors sometimes make Londrina a “garden city” and sometimes make it a “bohemian capital”, in order to understand the actions and codes that organize and segregate the urban space according to each conception. To this end, the concept of making the city is mobilized, according to Agier (2015), on the movement carried out by groups in the city that elaborate and disseminate the image of both ideal cities, and, with emphasis on sex workers, it is interpreted as the territories of prostitution in the central region are organized and the tactics of control and permissibility over this territory promoted by public, political and social sectors in their respective movements in the city are analyzed. It is intended, finally, to apply the explanatory model of established and outsiders, according to Elias (2000) for the visualization of these movements that segregate the city and that under an unstable balance of power in the spaces of tradition, authority and influence tension, prohibit and /or allow claims of the right to the city of prostitutes outside the territories of prostitution, corroborating the formation of moral regions, in an update of the concept of Robert Park (1967) in dialogue with other authors.
