dc.description.abstractA temática da Socioeducação foi abordada na presente pesquisa sob o enfoque do trabalho realizado por assistentes sociais neste espaço sócio-ocupacional. Nesta perspectiva, investigamos tal objeto a partir da exposição dos traços característicos presentes no exercício profissional de assistentes sociais que executam o seu trabalho com a privação de liberdade nos Centros de Socioeducação do Estado do Paraná. No intuito de alcançarmos o objetivo geral da pesquisa de analisar os traços característicos deste trabalho, elencamos os seguintes objetivos específicos: Mapear o perfil de assistentes sociais que atuam nos Centros de Socioeducação do Estado do Paraná, bem como explicitar suas condições de trabalho; Identificar quais são as demandas profissionais postas aos assistentes sociais neste espaço sócio ocupacional; Abordar como são construídas e organizadas as respostas que assistentes sociais produzem diante das demandas; e por fim evidenciar quais são as contribuições de assistentes sociais para o trabalho realizado nos Censes, bem como as dificuldades encontradas pelos mesmos em seu cotidiano profissional. Como recurso metodológico utilizamos procedimentos a partir da natureza qualitativa da pesquisa, conciliando a revisão de literatura, pesquisa de campo com os profissionais e o suporte documental. As análises foram construídas a partir dos eixos analíticos pré-definidos estrategicamente. Em síntese, inferimos no Eixo 1 que as condições de trabalho de assistentes sociais dos Censes do Estado do Paraná são caracterizadas pela sobrecarga de trabalho, imposição de carga horária exaustiva aos profissionais e extensão deste trabalho para além do expediente normal de trabalho. Em relação ao Eixo analítico 2, analisamos que as demandas profissionais são respondidas prontamente por assistentes sociais nos Censes. As demandas mais recorrentes na socioeducação decorrem de reações profissionais imediatas e se referem principalmente à: confecção da documentação civil e pessoal dos adolescentes; manutenção do vínculo com a família; informações sobre o funcionamento das medidas socioeducativas de privação de liberdade e da instituição (Censes); acompanhamento do processo socioeducativo; contato com familiares para repasse de informações; organização de visitas de familiares aos adolescentes nos Censes; fornecimento de informações sobre acompanhamento familiar e do processo socioeducativo dos adolescentes ao sistema de justiça; levantamento de informações acerca das condições socioeconômicas do adolescente e família; identificação das relações de convivência familiar e comunitária dos adolescentes. A urgência por respostas profissionais neste espaço sócio-ocupacional nos apontou a necessidade de assistentes sociais acionarem seu arcabouço analítico ao desvelar as reais necessidades da população atendida em seu cotidiano de trabalho. Quanto ao Eixo 3, analisamos que as ações profissionais nos Censes são mais proeminentes no atendimento direto ao usuário, com prioridade do atendimento socioeducativo focalizado no indivíduo, em detrimento de ações coletivas. Apesar da rotina maçante de atividades burocráticas e, por vezes, tecnicistas desenvolvidas nos Censes, analisamos que é no conjunto dessas ações profissionais que estão contidos elementos que explicitam o projeto profissional defendido por assistentes sociais na busca pela defesa de direitos em meio às controvérsias da política de socioeducação do Estado do Paraná.
dc.description.abstractother1This research addresses the subject of socio-educational intervention by focusing on the work performed by social workers within this socio-occupational setting. From this perspective, we examine the subject by outlining the characteristic features of the professional practice of social workers who carry out their duties in contexts involving the deprivation of liberty at socio-educational centers in the State of Paraná. To achieve the research's overall objective of analyzing the characteristics of this work, we outlined the following specific objectives: to map the profile of social workers practicing in the State of Paraná’s socio-educational centers (Censes) and describe their working conditions; to identify the professional demands placed on social workers in this socio-occupational setting; to examine how the responses social workers formulate in addressing these demands are constructed and organized; and, finally, to highlight the contributions social workers make to the work carried out at the Censes, as well as the difficulties they encounter in their daily professional practice. Regarding methodology, we employed procedures aligned with the research's qualitative nature, combining a literature review, fieldwork with professionals, and document analysis. The analyses were structured around strategically pre-defined analytical axes. In summary, regarding Axis 1, we infer that the working conditions of social workers at *Censes* (socio-educational centers) in the State of Paraná are characterized by excessive workloads, the imposition of exhausting schedules, and the extension of work beyond standard working hours. Regarding Analytical Axis 2, we observe that professional demands are promptly addressed by social workers at the *Censes* (socio-educational centers). The most frequent demands in the socio-educational context stem from immediate professional responses and primarily relate to: preparing the adolescents' civil and personal documentation; maintaining family ties; providing information on the operation of deprivation-of-liberty socio-educational measures and the institution itself; monitoring the socio-educational process; contacting family members to relay information; organizing family visits to the adolescents at the centers; providing the justice system with information regarding family support and the adolescents' socio-educational progress; gathering data on the socioeconomic conditions of the adolescent and their family; and identifying the adolescents' family and community relationships. The urgent need for professional responses within this socio-occupational setting highlighted the necessity for social workers to draw upon their analytical framework to uncover the actual needs of the population served during their daily work. Regarding Axis 3, we observed that professional actions at the Censes (socio-educational centers) are most prominent in direct service delivery, prioritizing individual-focused socio-educational care over collective interventions. Despite the tedious routine of bureaucratic and sometimes overly technical tasks performed at the centers, we found that the aggregate of these professional actions embodies elements that articulate the professional project championed by social workers as they strive to defend rights amidst the controversies surrounding the State of Paraná’s socio-educational policy.
