dc.description.abstractResumo: Inserida na área da Linguística Aplicada, no campo de formação em pesquisa do professor de língua estrangeira, este estudo relata uma breve história da ética em pesquisa em Linguística Aplicada com especial atenção para as relações entre o eu e o Outro Baseada em uma perspectiva foucaultiana de história geral, três perguntas de pesquisa são formuladas: (i) Que relações do eu com o Outro fazem parte de uma breve história da ética em pesquisa? (ii) Que discursos as tornaram possíveis? (iii) Que efeitos esses discursos produzem? Para responder essas indagações, dados do tipo acadêmico-científico foram coletados e interpretados junto com dados dos tipos artístico e institucional Estes tipos de dados constituem, em termos foucaultianos, três tipos de Arquivos, nomeadamente: artístico, institucional e acadêmico-científico Eles foram escolhidos, a fim de permitirem a compreensão de uma breve história pertencente a um contexto histórico maior Esta pesquisa adota orientação epistemológica hermeneuta, na etapa de seleção, descrição e comentários, e construcionista, na materialização prática de retorno Além disso, conta com orientação ontológica hermeneuta Diferentes elementos da Formação Discursiva são examinados, de acordo com o referencial teórico-metodológico foucaultiano, permitindo interpretações na forma de comentários de que as relações do eu com o Outro são multifacetadas e promovem diversos discursos que são coexistentes e enunciam, principalmente, uma estratégia da ausência de cuidados éticos Tais relações fluem de práticas abusivas, midiaticamente enunciadas (viz Arquivo artístico, no qual o discurso do diferente e do anormal é incitado e permeado por valores contemporâneos), passando por práticas prescritas em normativas de pesquisa (viz Arquivo institucional), que visam a responder a demandas históricas e sociais e culminam em práticas entendidas como macroéticas e burocráticas, que se centralizam em demandas contextuais e gerais, ou microéticas e emancipatórias, que emergem das próprias agendas de pesquisa (viz Arquivo acadêmico-científico) Muitas das práticas desse terceiro Arquivo são materializadas por meio de técnicas do cuidado de si e ou do cuidado do outro, ao passo que algumas práticas (eg retorno e anonimato) dispõem de estratégias específicas (viz possibilidade, pertinência e comodidade) para sua enunciação Em síntese, essa breve história da ética em pesquisa incita práticas (anti)éticas no escopo artístico, que são evitadas no âmbito institucional e reinterpretadas e expandidas no nível acadêmico-científicopt_BR
dc.description.abstractother1Abstract: Set in Applied Linguistics area, in foreign language teacher’s research education field, this study reports on a brief history of ethics in applied linguistics research with a special attention between the relations the Other and I Drawing on a foucauldian general history perspective, three specific research questions were addressed: (i) What relations between the Other and I constitute a history of ethics in research? (ii) What discourses make such relations possible? and (iii) What effects do these discourses produce? In order to answer these questions, data of the so-called scientific type were collected and interpreted along with the so-called artistic, institutional, academic and scientific ones These types of data constitute, in foucauldian terms, three types of Archives, namely the artistic, the institutional, and the academic-scientific, and they were chosen so as to allow understanding such a brief history as pertaining to a larger historical context This research adopts both a hermeneutic epistemological orientation, in the stages of selection, description and comments, and constructionist one, during the practice of participants’ feedback In addition, it has a hermeneutic ontological orientation Different elements of Discursive Formation are examined, according to the foucauldian theoretical and methodological framework, enabling interpretations in the form of comments are that the relations between the Other and I are multifaceted and promote various discourses, which coexist and state, mostly, an absence strategy of ethical care Such relations arise from abusive practices (stated by means of the media (viz artistic Archive, in which the strange and abnormal discourse is prompted and permeated by contemporary values) Moreover, prescriptive practices are also stated on research norms (viz institutional Archive) which aim at responding to historical and social needs These practices are interpreted as macroethics and bureaucratic, for focusing on general and context demands, or microethics and emancipatory, for emerging from the research agendas (viz academic-scientific Archive) Many practices of this third Archive are deployed by means of a self-care technique and or an other-care technique, whereas other practices (eg feedback and anonymity) employ other specific techniques (viz possibility, pertinence and convenience) in order to be stated In synthesis, this brief history of ethics in Applied Linguistics research incites (un)ethical practices in the artistic scope, which are avoided in the institutional sphere and reinterpreted and expanded at the academic-scientific levelpt_BR
