dc.description.abstractResumo: O estudo de Crenças e Atitudes Linguísticas se apoia na Psicologia Social e na Sociolinguística Segundo Moreno Fernández (1998), trata-se da manifestação da atitude social do indivíduo em relação à sua variedade e a outras Dessa forma, compreende o fenômeno da variação linguística segundo a consciência que o usuário da língua tem diante de seu idioma ou de sua variante e revela que a forma como vê as diferentes realizações da língua atua diretamente nas relações com os seus usuários Baseado na técnica Matched-Guises, ou falsos pares, desenvolvida por Lambert (1975), este estudo objetiva compreender as atitudes valorativas no que tange às crenças e atitudes linguísticas nos falantes; à percepção dos falantes em relação a sua variedade e à do outro; à presença de estereótipos; à influência da percepção linguística na atribuição de características físicas e pessoais O corpus desta pesquisa é formado por 24 informantes - 12 naturais de Curitiba e 12 de Londrina - cidades com cenários linguísticos bastante diversos, uma vez que Londrina, cidade interiorana, é mais influenciada pelo sul do estado de São Paulo em detrimento de sua própria capital, Curitiba Para tanto, foi realizada a gravação da leitura de um texto de cunho científico, expositivo e descritivo, para que seu conteúdo não influenciasse na atribuição de valores, mas apresentasse as principais marcas diferenciadoras dos dois dialetos A leitura foi realizada por dois falantes (um natural de Curitiba e outro de Londrina) e foi submetida a 24 julgadores, sendo 12 de Curitiba e 12 de Londrina, estratificados segundo o sexo, faixa etária e escolaridade Após a audição, transcrição e revisão, os dados foram processados com auxílio de um software desenvolvido por Mendez Batista (212) que oferece percentuais e número de ocorrências Os dados mostram que houve mais avaliações positivas que negativas e não respostas somadas, as avaliações positivas foram ligeiramente mais direcionadas ao dialeto curitibano em comparação ao dialeto londrinense, tanto por parte dos julgadores de Curitiba quanto de Londrina As mulheres se posicionam mais que os homens ao fazer julgamentos e reagem de forma mais positiva frente às diferenças Os informantes com escolaridade de nível fundamental atribuem mais prestígio aos falares que os de nível médio e superior Os julgadores da faixa etária de 51 a 7 se posicionam menos que os da faixa etária de 18 a 3 anospt_BR
dc.description.abstractother1Abstract: The study of Linguistic Behaviors and Beliefs relies on Social Psychology and Sociolinguistics According to Moreno Fernández (1998), it is the manifestation of the social behavior of the individual in relation to its variety and others Thus, comprises the phenomenon of language variation according to their awareness that the language user has on his or its language variant and reveals that the way we see the different realizations of the language act directly on the relationships with their users Based on Matched-Guise technique, developed by Lambert (1975), this study aims to understand the evaluative attitudes regarding the attitudes and beliefs on language speakers; the perception of the speakers in relation to its variety and the other; the presence of stereotypes; the influence of linguistic perception in assigning physical and personal characteristics The corpus of this study consists of 24 respondents - 16 from Curitiba and 16 from Londrina - cities with very different linguistic scenarios, as Londrina, provincial town, is more influenced by the southern state of São Paulo than of their own capital, Curitiba As such, recording the reading of a text scientific, expository and descriptive paper was conducted considering that its contents are not influenced in attributing values, but present the main distinguishing marks of the two sub-dialects The reading was performed by two speakers (one from Curitiba and other from Londrina) and was submitted to 24 judges, 12 of Curitiba and 12 of Londrina, stratified according to genre, age and scholarity After the hearing, transcription and revise, data were processed with the aid of a software developed by Mendez Batista (212) which offers percentage and number of occurrences The data show that there were more positive evaluation than negative evaluation and not response added together, the positive reviews were slightly directed to Curitiba`s dialect compared to Londrina`s dialect, both by judges of Curitiba as much of Londrina Women position themselves more than men when making judgments and react more positively about the differences Informants with elementary school have attributed to speak more prestige than those of have high school and college The judges of the age group 51-7 were positioned less than the age group 18-3pt_BR
