dc.description.abstractResumo: O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal estabelecer possíveis relações da variabilidade das chuvas no Paraná com índices de teleconexões Primeiramente, foi realizada uma análise da variabilidade das chuvas por meio da aplicação da metodologia MGCTI - Método Gráfico Cronológico de Tratamento da Informação Com base nas informações dos volumes totais das chuvas de 33 estações pluviométricas no período de 1977 a 214 O método utilizado permitiu observar a alternância de períodos decenais, mais secos e mais úmidos, na variabilidade das chuvas no Estado Também propiciou a obtenção do percentual das estações com anos secos e úmidos e comparação com alguns índices de teleconexões tais como: (AAO - Antarctic Oscillation, AMM - Atlantic Meridional Mode, AMO - Atlantic Multidecadal Oscilallation, ENOS (El Niño Oscilação Sul), PDO - Pacific Decadal Oscillation, TNA - Tropical Northern Atlantic, TSA - Tropical Southern Atlantic, IOS – Índice de Oscilação Sul NIÑO 3 e NIÑO 34) Como resultado, constatou-se que as oscilações da TSM do Pacífico Equatorial não refletem diretamente sobre a variabilidade das chuvas no Paraná Somente quando ocorrem eventos severos de ENOS é que repercute sobre a pluviosidade na maioria das localidades estudadas Foi possível estabelecer uma relação da variabilidade pluviométrica no Paraná com a variabilidade positiva/negativa das seguintes teleconexões: AAO, AMM, AMO, NAO e TNA Quanto às teleconexões NIÑO 3, NIÑO 34 e TSA não foram percebidas nenhuma relação com a variação das chuvas no Estadopt_BR
dc.description.abstractother1Abstract: The main objective of this study is to compare rainfall variability in Paraná with the oscillation of teleconnection indexesIn order to that, namelly, it is started by evaluating rainfall variability using the methodology of the MGCTI - Geographic Method of Information Processing - proposed by Nouaceur, Laignel and Turki (214) Based on the information of the total rainfall volumes of 33 stations between 1977 and 214, the use of this method allowed observing the decennial alternation in the variability of the rains in the state where there were the occurrence of periods, sometimes wetter or drier Moreover, the method allowed obtaining the percentage of the seasons with dry and humid years for later comparison with IOS - Southern Oscillation Index - of the El Niño 34 and the comparison with the fluctuation of the positive and negative phases of the teleconnections As a result it was observed that the SST oscillations of the Equatorial Pacific do not reflect directly on all the research stations, and only the severe events of the ENSO have repercussions on the humidity of the majority of the localities in Paraná The indexes of the analyzed teleconnections are AAO (Antarct Oslillation), AMM (Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation), ENO (El Niño Southern Oscillation), PDO (Pacific Decadal Oscillation, TNA (Tropical Northern Atlantic), TSA (Tropical Southern Atlantic), Niño 3 and NIño 34 The results demonstrated a relationship with rainfall variability and positive / negative variability with the AAO, AMM, AMO, NAO and TNA teleconnections Regarding the teleconnections NIÑO 3, NIÑO 34 and TSA no relation was observed with the variation of the rains in the statept_BR
