A maquinaria racista da branquitude arco-íris: um exame das relações discursivas entre homens gays cisgêneros brancos

Resumo
Resumo: Esta pesquisa parte de uma perspectiva pós-estruturalista dos Estudos Organizacionais, com o objetivo de compreender a maquinaria racista da branquitude nas relações discursivas entre homens gays cisgêneros brancos. Para tanto, considerou-se as epistemologias dos Estudos Críticos da Branquitude que abrangem a raça como uma construção discursiva de poder em sociedades estruturadas pelo racismo. As entrevistas foram realizadas com cinco participantes como método da Análise Crítica do Discurso - ACD. Entende-se, a partir da interação epistemológica e empírica, o sistema racial da branquitude concede privilégios e vantagens raciais que favorecem racialmente os homens gays brancos a desempenharem o papel de opressor e não de oprimido entre suas relações sociais, o que racializa a si mesmo e reproduz uma categoria própria - quando não discrimina e marginaliza - a/o “Outra/o-racial” não branca/o. Evidencia-se através das respostas, perspectivas e experiências, os participantes entrevistados estavam mais inclinados a se identificarem como racialmente liberais e a negar toda e qualquer cumplicidade com o sistema racista da branquitude e, receptivos e, como não, racistas.
Abstract: This research departs from a post-structuralist perspective of Organizational Studies, with the objective of understanding the racist machinery of whiteness in the discursive relations between white cisgender gay men. For that, we considered the epistemologies of the Critical Studies of Whiteness that cover race as a discursive construction of power in societies structured by racism. The interviews were carried out with five participants using the Critical Discourse Analysis - CDA method. It is understood, from the epistemological and empirical interaction, the racial system of whiteness grants privileges and racial advantages that racially favor white gay men to play the role of oppressor and not oppressed among their social relations, which racializes itself and reproduces a category of its own - when it does not discriminate and marginalize - the non-white “Other/racial”. It is evident through the answers, perspectives and experiences, the interviewed participants were more inclined to identify themselves as racially liberal and to deny all complicity with the racist system of whiteness and, receptive and, how not, racist.
