dc.description.abstractResumo: O objetivo do presente estudo foi de avaliar Avaliar o equilíbrio postural estático de pessoas vivendo com hiv/aids em tratamento com a terapia antiretroviral altamente ativa por meio de medidas estabilográficas Participaram do presente estudo 27 sujeitos com idade entre 3 e 4 anos que foram divididos em dois grupos, o GHIV (n12) e GC (n 15) Os participantes tiveram como tarefa experimental a permanência sobre uma plataforma de força adotando, em posição estática, a base de suporte bipodal e a base semi-tandem, ambas nas condições com e sem visão A análise estatística dos dados foi feita por meio da análise de variância (ANOVA) e da correlação de Spearman aditando P=,5 As variáveis independentes analisadas por meio da anova foram os grupos e as condições com e sem visão, por outro lado, as variáveis dependentes foram as derivadas do Cop, área de oscilação, amplitude médio-lateral e ântero-posterior, velocidade média Aplicou-se ainda a correlação de Spearman para analisar a relação entre a área de oscilação e o nível de atividade física e entre a velocidade e o nível de atividade física A partir dos resultados assumimos que a oscilação postural foi maior na condição de oclusão visual tanto para os PVHA quanto para os não PVHA Entretanto, os dados refutaram a hipótese de que haveria diferença entre PVHA em condição assintomática com o uso da TARV e não PVHA no controle postural, e de que o níve de atividade física apresentaria relação com a área de oscilação tanto para os PVHA quanto para os não PVHApt_BR
dc.description.abstractother1Abstract: The objective of this study was to evaluate the static postural balance of people living with asymptomatic hiv aids (PVHA) treated with highly active antiretroviral therapy by balancing measures 27 subjects with the age range of 3 to 4 years old participated of the current study and were divided into two groups, the HIV group (n12) and the C group (n15) The participants had as experimental task to stay on a force platform in static position, taking the bipedal support base and the semi-tandem base, both with and without sight The statistical data analysis was done by means of the variance analysis (ANOVA) and the Spearman correlation adopting p<,5 The dependent variable analyzed by means of the ANOVA were the groups and the conditions with and without sight, on the other hand, the independent variable were the derived from Cop, area of oscillation, medium-side amplitude and antero-posterior average speed It was applied the Spearman correlation to analyze the relation between the oscillation area and the level of physical activity and between the speed and the level of physical activity From the results it is presumed that the postural oscillation was higher under the condition of sight occlusion for both PVHA and non PVHA However, the data refute the hypothesis that there would be difference between the PVHA under asymptomatic condition with use of TARV and non PVHA in the postural control and that the level of physical activity would present relation with the oscillation area for both PVHA and non PVHApt_BR
