dc.description.abstractResumo: A pesquisa pretende introduzir a reflexão sobre a necessidade de uma releitura do princípio da boa-fé em face das restrições que o conceito lhe impõe Para tanto, realiza a demarcação de referenciais teóricos, em especial, o Código Civil de 22 e a sua matriz da eticidade À luz da tese proposta por Axel Honneth, filósofo pertencente à vertente intelectual da Teoria Crítica alemã, o trabalho enfrenta o modelo estabelecido no Código Civil de 22 e propõe uma reavaliação da base teorética de Miguel Reale sobre o conceito de eticidade Utilizando-se do método reconstrutivo, em especial, a “reconstrução normativa” honnethiana, concluiu-se, como resultado, sobre a necessidade da reconfiguração da liberdade jurídica exercida, entre outras formas, através do princípio da boa-fé, para uma liberdade social, tendo em vista que a primeira só serve para distanciar-se ou fechar-se perante às exigências ligadas às relações sociais preexistentes, sendo incapaz de criar uma realidade intersubjetivamente compartilhada no interior do mundo socialpt_BR
