| dc.description.abstract | Resumo: A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo apontar como a religiosidade dos imigrantes ucranianos atuou no processo de ressignificação e transformação do meio ambiente, através de suas práticas e representações no imaginário deste grupo social, entre os anos 189 e 1915, na região centro-sul do Estado do Paraná Para isso, utilizamos, como fontes, relatos dos imigrantes que se estabeleceram nos núcleos coloniais localizados nos atuais municípios de Mallet, Prudentópolis e Antonio Olinto Esses relatos apresentam narrativas da chegada às colônias e como estes imigrantes atuaram frente a uma natureza desconhecida por eles Procura-se demonstrar que a percepção do mundo natural está ligada também a fatores culturais, os quais atuam no imaginário e nas representações sociais que os indivíduos têm de si e do ambiente à sua volta As fontes indicam que a religiosidade dos imigrantes atuou no processo de (re)construção da realidade social nas colônias, ou seja, o modo de vida dos indivíduos foi estruturado através de esquemas de percepção inscritos em suas ações Aliados a esse processo, os modos de perceber, ressignificar e transformar o mundo natural foram, inicialmente, condicionados por essa relação Da perspectiva epistemológica, compreendemos que o ambiente não pode ser disassociado da esfera cultural Assim, a análise, nesta pesquisa, busca ferramentas nas abordagens tanto da História Cultural quanto da História Ambiental, buscando um diálogo entre as duas vertentes | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstractother1 | Abstract: This research aims to show how the religiosity of Ukrainian immigrants influenced the process of redefining the meaning of the environment and its transformation through their practices and representations in the imaginary, between the years 189 and 1915, in the center-south region of the State of Paraná To that end, the authors used information reported by immigrants who belonged to colonial settlements located in municipalities currently called Mallet, Prudentópolis and Antonio Olinto These accounts present the immigrants’ narratives of their arrival in the colonies and their behavior in an unknown natural environment This paper seeks to demonstrate that the perception of the natural world is also linked to cultural factors, which act in the imaginary and social representations that individuals have of themselves and the environment around them The sources indicate that the immigrants’ religiosity influenced the process of (re)construction of the social reality in the colonies In other words, the way the individuals lived their lives was structured through schemes of perception inscribed in their actions Allied to this process, the ways of perceiving, providing a meaning to and transforming the natural world were initially oriented by that relationship From the epistemological perspective, we understand that the environment cannot be disconnected from the cultural aspects Thus, the analysis carried out in this research seeks tools in the areas of Cultural History as well as Environmental History that enable a dialogue between the two areas | pt_BR |
