dc.description.abstractNo presente trabalho, apresentamos uma análise do processo de criação dos painéis da via-sacra, esculpidos pelo artista barroco Bernhard Franz Heise, para a igreja Nossa Senhora Rainha dos Apóstolos de Londrina. O objetivo da pesquisa é discutir uma via de aproximação entre Bíblia, arte e ciência, considerando elementos de materialidades das Sagradas Escrituras, escultura, da Crítica Genética e da Estilística. A pesquisa se apoia numa abordagem qualitativa e exploratória, com delineamento descritivo e bibliográfico. Utilizamos como aporte teórico os pressupostos da Crítica Genética e da Estilística, com especial enfoque na Estilística léxica, ao investigar como determinadas palavras presentes nos textos bíblicos, serviram como gatilhos para a criação dos painéis. Analisamos, também, os traços de memória e o perfil artístico de Heise presentes na via-sacra, bem como as influências sofridas de outros artistas barrocos e transportadas, por ele, para a sua obra. Os resultados permitem afirmar que embora não tenhamos tido acesso aos esboços utilizados para a concepção dos painéis, foi possível acompanhar o processo criativo do artista, no que diz respeito à transposição da linguagem verbal para a linguagem visual. Desenvolver trabalhos que tenham a Bíblia como foco de estudo, contribui para o rol de pesquisas produzidas no campo das ciências da linguagem, investindo na produção de conhecimento científico e na divulgação de resultados que tratem do referido tema. A elaboração do discurso textual da via-sacra é essencialmente imagético e sensitivo. A tradição religiosa que está por trás da piedade popular da via-sacra é muito antiga e influenciou o imaginário religioso do ocidente cristão. Nessa perspectiva, compreendemos que a arte de Heise é atravessada por passagens bíblicas que se respaldam na fé e representam a circunstância de produção mais básica de suas esculturas. Não podemos perder de vista que a linguagem visual da arte sempre foi um instrumento eficaz na catequese e na evangelização empreendidas pelo cristianismo
dc.description.abstractother1This paper presents an analysis of the process of creating the Stations of the Cross panels, sculpted by Baroque artist Bernhard Franz Heise for the Church of Our Lady Queen of the Apostles in the city of Londrina. The objective of the research is to discuss a way of bringing connecting the Bible with art and science, considering elements of materiality in the Holy Scriptures, sculpture, Genetic Criticism, and Stylistics. The research is based on a qualitative and exploratory approach, with a descriptive and bibliographic design. The theoretical framework used was based on the premises of Genetic Criticism and Stylistics, with a special focus on Lexical Stylistics, investigating how certain words present in biblical texts served as triggers for the creation of the panels. The traces of memory and artistic profile of Heise present in the Way of the Cross were also analyzed, as well as the influences the artist received from other Baroque artists and transported into his work. The results allow for the assertion that, although there was no access to the sketches used for the design of the panels, it was possible to follow the artist's creative process with regard to the transposition of verbal language into visual language. Developing works that focus on the Bible as a subject of study contributes to the body of research produced in the field of language sciences, investing in the production of scientific knowledge and the dissemination of results that address this theme. The textual discourse of the Way of the Cross is essentially imagistic and sensory. The religious tradition behind the popular piety of the Way of the Cross is very ancient and has influenced the religious imagination of the Christian West. From this perspective, we understand that Heise's art is permeated by biblical passages that are based on faith and represent the most basic circumstances of his sculptures' production. We must not lose sight of the fact that the visual language of art has always been an effective tool in the catechesis and evangelization undertaken by Christianity
