dc.description.abstractO presente trabalho contém dados reunidos acerca de uma pesquisa teórico-prática em Arte e tem como objetivo propor uma investigação sobre as relações intrínsecas entre tempo, memória e materialidade artística como ferramenta de não-esquecimento. Busco compreender as nuances desses conceitos, aprofundando na interseção entre a teoria e a expressão artística visual, a partir de representações de uma figura ausente, e analisar como as Artes Visuais, enquanto expressões subjetivas, abordam e dialogam com as complexidades desta temática. A partir da fotografia, destaco a participação crucial das Artes Visuais na construção da memória e do não-esquecimento permeado por subjetividades, estabelecendo conexões entre estudos e produções poéticas particulares, atribuindo referências a artistas contemporâneos como Rosângela Rennó e Cao Guimarães, baseadas nas fundamentações teóricas a respeito da linguagem fotográfica de Walter Benjamin e Roland Barthes. Com esta bagagem, utilizando fotografias analógicas e digitais, mesclando com alterações digitais e manuais, mas mantendo a originalidade do papel fotográfico, foram elaboradas três séries poéticas que serão apresentadas no decorrer deste trabalho: Escavando memórias, Retratos de uma ausência e Rastros de sua existência. De acordo com fotografias de situações cotidianas com ressalvas e nuances afetivas, que sempre mantiveram a conexão com minha memória e proximidade com minha mãe, a figura ausente que tenho em saudosa memória. Memórias que busco evidenciar em minhas criações visuais que reinterpretam subjetividades em constante diálogo com a psique humana, revisitando o passado e dialogando com o presente.
dc.description.abstractother1This academic work contains data gathered about the research, and its objective is to propose an investigation of the intrinsic relationship between time, memory, and artistic materiality as an instrument for non-forgetting. I seek to comprehend the nuances of these concepts, delving into the intersection between theory and visual artistic expression, based on the representations of an absent figure, and to analyze how Visual Arts, as subjective expressions, represent and engage with the complexities of this topic. Starting with photography, I highlight the crucial participation of Visual Arts in constructing memory and non-forgetting, filled with subjectivities, establishing connections between studies and particular poetic productions, attributing references to contemporary artists such as Rosângela Rennó and Cao Guimarães, based on the theoretical fundamentals of photographic language of Walter Benjamin and Roland Barthes. With this experience, utilizing analog and digital photography, merging digital and manual alterations but maintaining the photographic paper's originality, were elaborated three poetic series that will be represented along this final paper, being: Portraits of an absence, Digging up memories and Tracks of your existence. According to everyday life photographs with remarks and affective nuances, which always maintained a connection between my memory and my proximity with my mother, the absent figure that I have fond memories of. Memories that I seek to demonstrate how my visual creations can reinterpret subjectivities in constant dialogue with the human psyche, revisiting the past and dialoguing with the present.
