dc.description.abstractNeste estudo, por meio da Teoria da Comunicação formulada por Iuri Lotman e das Funções da Linguagem de Roman Jakobson, buscou-se analisar quais elementos estilísticos em produção híbrida de jornalismo e literatura estão presentes na construção da grande reportagem, Um dia no cais, de João Antônio, publicada na revista Realidade em setembro de 1968. Procurou-se entender o contexto histórico, político e social da época e como esta matéria se circunscreve na tradição desta modalidade da literatura de não-ficção. Além disso, a pesquisa teve o intuito de descobrir se o Brasil dialogou com o New Journalism ou se aqui já eram produzidos textos com características semelhantes aos dos estadunidenses. Para coleta de informações foram utilizadas as pesquisas bibliográficas e de campo. Os resultados alcançados demonstram que a grande reportagem de João Antônio é sim um texto híbrido, assim como outras produções da revista Realidade e se diferencia pela presença de características atribuídas ao conto, gênero mais publicado pelo autor. Constatou-se também que as reportagens escritas no Brasil não tiveram inicialmente um diálogo com o New Journalism, visto que anos antes já eram publicados textos híbridos entre jornalismo e literatura no país.
dc.description.abstractother1In this study, through the Communication Theory formulated by Iuri Lotman and the Language Functions by Roman Jakobson, sought to analyze which stylistic elements in a hybrid production of journalism and literature are present in the construction of the great reportage, Um dia no cais, of João Antônio, published in Realidade magazine in September 1968. It sought to understand the historical, political and social context of the time and how this matter is circumscribed in the tradition of this modality of non-fiction literature. In addition, the research aimed to find out if Brazil has dialogued with the New Journalism or if texts with similar characteristics to those in the US were already being produced here. Bibliographic and field research were used to collect information. The results achieved demonstrate that the great reportage by João Antônio is indeed a hybrid text, just like other productions of Realidade magazine and is distinguished by the presence of characteristics attributed to the short story, the genre most published by the author. It was also found that the reportages written in Brazil did not initially have a dialogue with the New Journalism, since years earlier hybrid texts between journalism and literature were already published in the country.
