This thesis reviews theΛCDM framework, structure formation, and the role of halos in lensing analyses, and then compares several parametric halo density models within two widely used computational libraries: NUMCOSMO and COLOSSUS. Using halos with a set of representative masses,Mvir ∈{5×1013, 1014, 5×1014, 1015} M⊙, at redshifts commonly explored in cosmological surveys, z ∈ {0.6, 0.9, 1.2}, we evaluate dark matter inner profiles (NFW, Hernquist, and Einasto), composite outer-profile extensions, and the DK14 model. The inner profiles show excellent agreement, with relative differences at the 10-9 to 10-8 level. The Einasto profile combined with constant-density and power-law outer terms also shows similarly high consistency, with discrepancies remaining at the 10-9 level once the normalization procedures are matched. The DK14 comparison yields agreement at the 10-7 level, indicating robust consistency even for a more structurally complex profile. In contrast, the Einasto + 2-halo comparison remains well behaved Only over part of the radial range and develops significant discrepancies at large radii, showing that this case still requires further investigation.
